When a website does not have an SSL certificate, a Not Secure message is usually displayed on that website.

How to add a free SSL certificate to a WordPress website with Cloudflare? That is what I will teach you today.

To do this, you must first open an account in Cloudflare. Once the registration is complete, the account needs to be activated by verifying the email. Then log in to your Cloudflare account.

To successfully add CloudFlare to the site, you need to change the domain’s DNS (Domain Name Server).

To do this, login to the site where you bought the domain. Then from there change the DNS from the Name Server option.

Cloudflare has given you two DNSs to copy. The rest of the cells are supposed to be empty normally. Now save it.

[Many problems can occur when changing the name server! If there is any problem, please comment in the comment box below. Inshallah I will try to solve the problem accordingly.]

If you have succeeded in successfully changing the name server, then log in to the admin panel of your WordPress website. When the login is complete, click on Add Plugin from the plugin option.

Your site is now secured with an SSL certificate. After setting up SSL correctly, you will see a lock icon in the address bar of the browser. E.g. https://wpcodersclub.com/ https://www.seocheckingtools.com/ If you visit these sites, you will see the lock icon.

If you click on the lock icon, you will see a popup message in green saying the Connection is secure.

This means that this site is risk-free. You can definitely browse this site. Before making an online payment, be sure to check if the site has SSL. If you do not have SSL on the site, do not forget to pay.
